The Ohio Expo Center will find space for Buckeye fans who want to park and take the COTA shuttle to Saturday's home football game again Kent State -- except for those arriving in recreational vehicles.
"There's just no room at the inn" for RVs, said Kathie Amspaugh, director of non-fair events for the Expo Center.
With the All American Quarter Horse Congress at the fairgrounds for a three-week stay, parking is at a premium. Organizers say the event draws more than a half-million competitors, vendors and fans with their own RVs, horse trailers and display trailers.
The park-and-ride operated by the Central Ohio Transit Authority at the fairgrounds will be moved just north to the Crew Stadium parking lot. Fans should take E. 17th Avenue and follow the signs to the stadium lot.
